I put this in the paper today, thank you
I know when you are feeling weak and you are old with no family close by a little kindness is much appreciated.
I do know a younger patient was told off for helping a 90+ lady, because they said she will not get the same treatment when she returns home, so she was spoiling her.
Terrible I think.

I don't see that there is anything wrong with using expressions of endearment , like petal, love etc, unless the person objects

I think it varies which part of the Country you live what is acceptable and use to hearing.

How can the nurses be expected to remember the name of everyone, with people coming and going all the time?
