So happy for you

Make a list
then go through it one by one
Benefits agency, council tax. dwp, gas, electric, phone company , water supplier, bank , blue badge scheme, any concessions you may have registered for, and check all your direct debits etc are forwarded to you new address.)
Contact post office for re direction of mail before you move
Get your meters read the day you move
Don't forget to update your registration details with any on line accounts you have when you move....this could affect delivery services.
If you have any help from social services , they might be able to assist you with the removal and transition too.

and don't forget to change Dudley details with the micro chip people either!

So exciting. You must be writing list upon list!!

Good luck with the packing. I always found doing a bit at a time. It is exhausting. I label the boxes with rough idea of whats in them then i know which boxes to unpack first and which can be done another day if your too tired. Also writing the rooms on the boxes help.

Soooooooooooo pleased for you Debz

this is exciting, I am pleased for you,
Once upon a time we would have had to cancel the milkman, although my daughter still has one, I will ask in discussions.
Good luck to both of you in your new home

Also have a bag with all your medications in, might be an idea also to stock up on meds to last till you get settled in new flat.

The day you move , make sure you have some drinks and sandwitches to take with you, and keep the kettle and some tea, coffee sugar and milk and a couple of pots handy.
Also, keep any valuables , bank books /cards/ jewellery etc in your handbag with you. And don't leave it alone for a min.
