Have you ever had to dial 111 and does your town have a walk in centre
Recently I have had to call 111 twice and found their service to be excellent and better than NHS Direct.
We have a walk in centre in Norwich, which we take for granted unless it is needed, but I was surprised to find out there was not one in Worcester.
The services there were dismal and you had to phone 111 before being seen by a local GP.
This got me thinking - do you have a walk in centre and have you had to use one?

I have never had occasion to ring 111, but we do have a walk in centre based at Burnley General Hospital

We are lucky we have one in Norwich, but not so easy for those without transport.

I have never used 111 but glad to hear you have found it is a good service. Hope the 90 year old lady is alright. We have a walk in centre at the QE hospital and a one at Blaydon. I have never been to either of the walk in centres but have heard the Blaydon one is good.

So pleased she is back home
I think there should be more walk in centres for people who are unable to commit to being free to keep pre booked appointments .

Someone who is a member recently visited the Norwich one and told me how good it was.

Glad th3 lady is recovering Wendy.
We have a walk in center. The waiting times can be incredible. I had a 4 hour wait with alivia once. There was a chap in there with a bleeding head. He had scabbed by the time he was seen.
