Lovely pic and words Wendy. I can't believe it is August, almost autumn & still no signs of summer, it is depressing waking to grey most mornings.

Good morning, we have the inevitable grey again today, just household chores for me today & hope to get a walk on later .

Hope you have a peaceful day

I find the days so cold, and I am still wearing winter clothes.
I am taking things slowly, but you can imagine there is a pile of work to do on the internet and in my house, with having my family staying with me.
love to you all

tha22222 for the lovely picture and words Wendy. I met my friend Ann today for lunch and a catch up. Have not seen her for a few weeks, she has been on holiday, then covering for staff where she works. I might have to wait a few more weeks for another lunch withher, as she is covering holidays again. We had a lovely day today, it was sunny and warm, which makes a change. Love Rosalind xxx

I have just spent time going through over 500 emails because I was away and not able to keep up with them.
Now I will start on my ironing and then take it easy.
I wonder what you will do today?

Good Afternoon, we have had rain, the sun is trying to get out. Have set my mum's hair, will comb it out later when dry. Visiting my friend Norine who is not well at the moment. Milo is happy chewing away at a bone. Take care. Love Rosalind xxx

Good morning is another grey start & the wind is back.
I have a few errands to do & a big pile of ironing, I am hoping to go to aqua-aerobics this afternoon.

I am expecting fireworks later on, the tree surgeon is coming to deal with the ivy on next door's wall which is growing under their eaves and into the attic & invading their pointing causing dampness. It has encroached from ours & Bill does not want it cut down, he will give me a hard time about it
Hope you have a reasonable day~Love anniexx

Enjoy your break to Portsmouth next week Annie.

I have been to the doctors this morning for a blood test, and have to phone in a weeks time for the results.
This afternoon I am visiting a healer for the first time. I did meet her at the funeral my daughter and I went to a few weeks back.
It is cloudy here and still windy.
love to all

Good morning, the sun is shining today, Has summer arrived at last?

What an expensive wk this week, got my ring back from repair, £90, got the oven door back, £45, sadly, the vacuum, was repairable, but the engineer said it wasn't worth it ( approx.£150), so need to buy a new one, so just hope the laptop doesn't conk, as I was going to get a new one with my birthday money, so that is now on hold!!!!

I am resting today and doing as I have been told to do to listen to the birds.

Morning all,

recovered from my time away. We had a lovely anniversary. The girls put a banner in our room and a lovely card. It wasn't the romantic few days it would have been if Lee and i were together properly but it was lovley. We swam, jacuzzied, steam room and relaxed. The girls had a great time. Out suite was a max.

I was going g to my parents next week but my mum had bronchitis and so we have changed the dates. I wanted to go and look after her but she would prefer us to come when she is well enough to enjoy it.

mowing the lawns today. Weather is lovely.

thinking of you all

Good morning, what a lovely sunny day it is now, we went up the churchyard and it took us most of the morning as there had been a serious accident on the bypass which closed a big stretch of the road off.

Good Afternoon, it is lovely and sunny here, have done some housework, and waiting for the washing machine to finish, so I can hang my sheets out. Mum was poorly yesterday with diarrhoea and is so tired today, she is stopping in bed. When I have finished my chores, I am popping out to get milk etc and going to treat myself to tea and cake. Enjoy your day at the food festival Annie. Glad you enjoyed your anniversary Jane. Hope everyone has some sunshine to enjoy.
