what a very strange day i have had

You may have read that I went with my daughter to a funeral today.
well, I saw this man looking at me, and I said to my daughter " I thought I knew who it was"

It was an old boyfriend that I went out after my divorce, for a couple of years and I had not seen for over 20 years.
I broke his heart, as he wanted us to get married but I was not over my ex.
I knew that several months later, he met a lady soon after we parted and they had been together since then.
He came over and spoke with me and my daughter, it was really lovely to see him. He told me he had recent heart scare and his partner cared for him well, so 10 weeks ago they got married.
It was really good to see them both so happy.
It was a strange moment for me, and it made the funeral go really better than expected, everyone was talking about us meeting and having a laugh.
Also there was a bat flying around during the Church service, which also gave us all a great laugh.
what a day.
The food was excellent as well.
