Posted: 02 Jul 2015, 07:20We had a massive thunderstorm last night between 10 & 11, the lightening was spectacular, it only rained for about 5 min though.

Posted: 02 Jul 2015, 16:44We had a bad storm at 3.30pm yesterday, it was very frightening, we had thunder, lightning, torrential rain and hailstones. Later on in the evening we lost internet, tv and phone connections. Then at 1am this morning we again had thunder, lightning and torrential rain. A lot of the flowers have lost their heads. It is getting dark again, we have been forecast for another storm.

Sorry Rosalind you lost your flowers, I had some potatoes growing well in a bag in the yard but the stems have broken with the force of the hailstones. Never mind, might get some baby potatoes for Sunday lunch.
I feel so sorry for the people who had structural damage to their homes. Thank goodness nobody was hurt.

Posted: 03 Jul 2015, 10:57we are still waiting for storms, my daughter had some in Worcester and said it has made the air so much fresher.
