Our new friend is settling

It was a big welcome to our kitten yesterday.
His name is teddy ans already registered at pets at home vip pets scheme!
We had a text on Friday of could we change the pick up time from 1 PM to 4 PM. Well you can imagine Liv! She was bouncing with excitement but the thought of the extra wait was too much! Lol. I said to the lady that would be fine but I may have to rests in alivia with her over excitement. She text back and said if we could get there before 9am we could have him then as she would be out all day after that..
so we were up at 7 am! It takes nearly an hour to get to Mansfield from here! Not sure Liv slept at all that night! I was awoken by a bouncing 12 year old promptly at 7!
We picked him up at the same time Kate gave birth!
he is a ball of energetic fluff! When we got him home he was out withing half and our and began exploring. Staraight under the sofa and refused to coe out! So we dragged out the sofa and retrieved him! And spent time then blocking off all routes that he could potentially get stuck!
He loves his bed. He slept for most of the morning! Liv was gutted as she wanted to play! When he did wake up it was like a whirl wind! He loves to play. He stalks you a and when you get near him he tussles ever so gently.
After a long day it was bed time for Liv. Teddy awoke again in time to watch her go upstairs! He followed to the bottom of the stairs and stared doleful after her. Then decided to attack my feet!
I was awoken this morning by Liv at 7 am worried as she couldn't find him anywhere! So much for the lie in!
We hunted all over the lounge kitchen and upstairs. We woke Lee up when we were poking him to see if he was snuggled with him. Apparently he slept on lees feet most of the night which meant Lee was cold as he didn't want to move the duvet incase he woke him up? Still couldn find him until we peeled back aa corner andther in aa little duvet nest was a fast asleep teddy! Totally oblivious to us searching for him!
Liv is now playing with him while I put ,y feet up and chat to you all.
