Your committee is delighted to inform you that we are now a registered charity under the Charity Commission.
This work was started in November and we were told yesterday.
I hope you will be as excited about this as we are.

Thank you sincerely for your support.
Without you we could never have done this.

Some news,
We are about to give a laptop to a family carer in Norwich who have escaped from Bangladesh. We have given equipment out to people from other countries as long as they have proof of being a carer.
We are now told that this means we are reaching out to ethnic minorities.
Thought you may like to know.

We are receiving lots of congratulation emails from the charities and I have been asked to write a short piece for the Norfolk CAP

Please will you correct this and add whatever you think, before I send it out.

We are delighted that after many years of struggle our peer support group for family unpaid carers has become a registered charity. Securing this status will enable our charity to continue to be a safe place for family unpaid carers.
Our journey began in 2002 with our members on the forum, who have supported one another on the internet and in real life. We have held meetings and lunches and we have a weekly meet up for coffee in Norwich.
We send out a free internet daily newspaper to family carers across the UK.
Since 2009 we have campaigned to get family carers on the internet who could not afford to buy the equipment and have so far our small team of volunteers have made hundreds of carers very happy.
There is really no need to feel alone if you do have the internet, because the members of our community forum, will welcome you with open arms. They share a good morning and good night and most members tell us they could not get through their caring role, without the support and help from the members.

Kind Regards
Wendy Maxwell

Where you have said you have made 100s of carers happy, probably need to add by providing them with pcs.

I hope you like what Ross has done today.
I do.
There are still the headers and footers to sort out but we will have to wait a week for them to be sorted.
I think the arcade is different but at the moment you have to access it from the front page.

Thank you for your patience.
