Thank you for the beautiful picture Wendy. It is cold and windy but the sun is shining. Mum's hearing aid was whistling this morning, so mum has cleaned it and fiddled with it and now it is not working at all. So back to the ENT department at the Freeman for the second time in two days. Going out for lunch first. Hope everyone is having a reasonable day.

Good afternoon, what a lovely picture Wendy, going to a bluebell woods is on my to do list for this month.

I've just had problems connecting to internet but after restarting hub and laptop it is now working.

Good morning, it is fine with no wind. Bill should be going to Pain Clinic this am, but yet again says he isn't up to it. I have cancelled the appt, but his prescription will run out & after the performance last time, trying to get the prescription , the secretary has suggested I call in clinic & see the consultant to get it first hand! Don't know what the day holds, I am weary, no choir so will find something else to do, as it is my day off.
Hope you have a good day

I can't believe we are in April already!

Thinking of you Annie. I know how frustrating this us for you. So stressful when you have to sort the aftermath especially when it comes to prescriptions with the pain clinic. Here if you want to talk.

off for my walk in a bit. I do 2 good walks and yesterday did some paperwork too so really improving each day.

thinking of you all and hope the day is kind to you

Good afternoon, the sun is out, just need to warm up a bit for my liking.

What a worry for you Annie keep having to cancel appointments, I hope they understand why.

Sounds like you are making a good recovery Jane, you're nearly back to your naughty self .

On the way home from shopping this morning I saw a very long funeral procession going to Colney burial park, there were about 50-60 motor bikes following the hearse, all the traffic stopped.

Good afternoon, it has been a lovely spring day here, what a lovely surprise!!!
What a trial this morning, I set off to Bury at 10.30am (20min drive) to the clinic & then hit standing traffic on th M66. Didn't get to the hospital until 11'30 & then spent 15mins trying to park. Luckily, the consultant was still there & he said in future, he doesn't need to see Bill unless he needs a change in meds & I can just ring up the sec for a 6 month prescript when needed, to save Bill the bother of trailing over there. Wasn't that thoughtful?

However, I was not so pleased when got to pharmacy, waited 1/2 hr for them to dispense & then they told me there was only 190 mls & they would have to order some more in & not ready until next wed, so will have to trail all the way back for 30 mls, next wk!!

Had a lovely long walk this afternoon, when Colin came & I saw both sets of swans & both pens were in their respective nests, still not sure whether Gladys has laid as she keeps settling in it & then next time she is out. Naughty Grumps leapt out at me again & gave my leg a good pecking & I told him off & he got back in the water

good morning,
It was nice to read all your posts, thank you. You have your ups and downs, but somehow you keep managing.
It is a miserable day today, cold grey and raining. Not very nice for people in tents on holiday.
I will be going to the post office to send your presents off today.
love to everyone.

Good morning, it is a bright start here, but forecast is not good for north west. No plans so far, just a big pile of ironing beckoning, which hope to get done this am. Hope to persuade Bill to have a bath this am, he hasn't had one for over 2 weeks & it is embarrassing when anyone comes, he smells. I cannot understand him!!!!
Hope you have a good day

Good Morning, it is overcast here, off to meet my friend Ann for lunch. Will look forward to receiving my present Wendy. I know how difficult it is Annie, my mum will have a bath every week but I have to sort her clothes out and put them in the washing basket or she would wear them till they fell off her back. I did once put her trousers in the basket and when I next looked she had taken them out and put them on again. So now I take her clothes off her stool that need washing and put them straight in the washer. Mum says they are alright when they have dirty marks on them.
Hope everyone has a reasonable day.

Good morning, it is still misty here, looks like it is not going to clear this am.

Yesterday was such a lovely day, the warmest this year. My daughter-in -law & I had a walk down the canal, & we were just in time to see a launch emerge form the tunnel, I said to her, watch this, it will be fun , and sure enough, Grumps came gliding out from the nest area & launched a full scale attack on the boat, pecking at it a sticking to it like glue for 100 yds down the canal, before he gave up & came back. I am just afraid someone will really hurt him one of these days when he gets his paddy up.
Debbie & are may go to a local craft fair this afternoon
Hope you have a good day

Still got fog here this morning.
I want a nice photo, tomorrow I will be publishing a blog from Jane on our webpage, and I need a photo.
has anyone got any ideas?
I want to write a blog myself but I am afraid to do so. I know it is silly, but something needs saying.

It is ignorance.

Good afternoon, it is a lovely sunny day here. I have been in to town shopping & Bill has his appt with plastic surgeon at 2 for for his results, but as he is still fast asleep in the chair, I don't think he will be going AGAIN!!! I just don't know what to do, it is just dragging on & on & we need to know if the melanoma has spread!
Hope you are having a good day
