I am very tired after my busy day. Been interviewed by a magazine and will let you know when it appears.
I have put my washing out twice, I think I will buy a clothes dryer.
I was surprised at the funeral, I knew my friend was 96 but I did not realize she had lived in a work house.
It was a Requim Mass with incense so smelt lovely, maybe that is why I am tired.
I have posted lots of letters but still got letters to do.
love

Hope you enjoy your art class Wendy.

I went to see Paul yesterday, but I may as well not have bothered!! Going to have a few days off, then he might be a bit more chatty when I do go. Went to beading this morning but didn't do anything - just chatted to my friends for a couple of hours. This afternoon my old neighbours (from where we used to live) came over and David fitted my skirting board for me and gave it the first coat of paint. Bless him. I will give it a 2nd coat tomorrow then do the wallpaper on Saturday, then all I need is my new carpet - YAY!

Hope you enjoyed your art classes Wendy. Sheila - always nice to have a good old natter. Ann , hope the shop still had something on the shelves lol

I was going to go to my knit n knatter this afternoon, but with the weather forecast I decided to come straight home after work, was I glad I did when it hailed heavily not long after I got home ... now it is snowing ! I have dug out the pull-on spikes for my shoes tomorrow just in case as I am on the minibus... can just see one of my passengers helping me on and off the minbus if I don't!!! sp0

I am taking them the Easter Knitties I have done .. they put Ferro Roche in them and they sell for a whole £1! I have done 103 at the last count ... If they all go, I will have made enough to pay the diesel for one bus for a week ..

I hope you are all staying warm n snug xxx

Love Liz x

Afternoon all,

They are brilliant Liz. You are so good at knitting. (my pumpkins are still sitting on my computer monitor stand!!) They are lucky to have you fund raising for them.

Hope the art went well wendy. looking forward to seeing the finished product.

I have been on duty today. No calls! probably just as well as the snow came thick and fast. It has disappeared almost now so no snow angels for me.

Thinking of you all

We have not got any snow settled here, but it is very cold and there has been snow showers.
Life must be even more difficult for you as carers with the added burden of snow.
I am thinking of you.
keep strong

Well done Liz - those Easter Knitties look lovely - good fundraising.
Hope you enjoyed the art class Wendy - do you use water colour? I joined an art class a number of years ago but couldn't carry on due to hubby getting worse. You never know, I may be able to get back to that sometime as I was enjoying it. I have kept all the materials I bought so they could come in handy at some point.
We have had snow lying for the past few days but heavy rain a wee while ago - hope it doesn't freeze overnight as that will be very treacherous on the roads - gritters are kept busy on main roads so rarely get around the town streets.
Hope you are all managing to keep warm xx

good morning,
how lovely to see your posting Daisy, yes I do water colour but recently tried pastels. This week I also tried pressing some flowers, they were beautiful orchids, so will see what they come out like.
It is very cold, so trying to keep warm.
love to all
