phishing e mail

Postby Honey » 28 Nov 2014, 01:06

I think I have got one from someone pretending to be BT
I didn't reply.
They wanted me to update my account information because there was a problem with my last transaction.
It looked official but BT have never e mailed me before asking for personal information.
I am just letting you know this might be a scam if you get one of these e mails.
I will ring BT tomorrow to report this.
Has anyone else had one of these e mails.

I get a few a week claiming to come from official places, they do look realistic, I just block the senders
