I have posted this here as it will not yet be in the paper Radio Times and I haven't seen any ads on the TV yet ...
Sunday Night at the Palladium .. anyone remember watching it in the 50', 60' and 70's? It is back for a six week run... This one is a must not miss!!
http://www.radiotimes.com/episode/c4z94 ... -episode-1
The host is Stephen Mulhern, and the acts feature - Bryan Adams (he did two songs), Little Mix (very scantily clad and very energetic), Alfie Boe (boy did he belt out "Bring Him Home"), Alan Davies (Jonathan Creek) doing a ten minute slot, and a couple of speciality acts - an American husband and wife team who did (very) quick clothes change ...
... and Les Beaux Freres - for those of you who haven;t heard of them, they are those two chaps who dance without anything other than a bath towel (and later on one with only a little flannel), they really do not have anything underneath !!!
How do I know what they did, and about the flannel? Our knit and knatter group got a mysterious e-mail a few weeks ago asking if anyone was interested in a trip to London with a coach laid on free .. I thought why not? The next week we were told it was a "family show", last Thursday we found out what it was - the relaunch of Sunday Night at the Palladium!
The only drawback was that we would get back to Norwich about 1am on Monday morning ...
Well, some of use decided to go for it, and we weren't dissapointed - coffee, tea, and biscuits were laid on for us and another group from mixed martial arts club - we were introduced as the "nutters from Norwich" - in my case probably true lol lol We had a brilliant time, even getting there on the coach was great as we went past so many tourist sites on the way ..
We saw the poppies at the Tower of London

and had a ride along the River Thames

It was fascinating watching them organise it, and all the cameras etc - I now appreciate all the hard work that goes into making a show like this even more...
PS.. at one point in the evening the two chaps with the towels were sat beind me n my friend!!
