The RSPCA phoned me this afternoon to let me know that Annies swan is alive and getting better.
He will be released back to his family in a few weeks time.

I am overjoyed at this news, I went down today & they are nesting on the towpath at the spot where the RSPCA picked up the cob, they came rushing up to me and one of the cygnets was over eager and was stood almost on my feet pecking at my hand, I can't believe how they trust me now!!!!!

Ann,
I told the man how you have bought special food, and how the swans come up to you, I also told him how much your pictures of the swans means to us.
I think he will keep us informed of how the cob is doing, he was delighted in our interest.

What a difference from the other chap!!! It will be great if he gives you updates!!!
As soon as I get back from hol, I will be rushing down there to see if he is back!!!!!
