does anyone here still use hot water bottles.
my late father was refused them when he went into a care home due to rules/regs etc.
he missed them very much.

I definitely do, I have two for my bed, one for my feet and one to cuddle - I add a bit of cold water and have covers on them so I don't get "burnt"

I use wheat bags, as I find it difficult to fill a hotty without burning myself, because of my poor coordination, however , they don't keep hot for as long as hotties.

I still use a hot water bottle for warmth in winter and if my back is playing up it's good for easing that as well.
