I've got a lightweight one to do floors and they are good if you have laminated floors, they only need a little water in them.
I only brought a cheap one to see if I liked it and it's still working well.

Mine is a floor cleaning one and with anything that gets hot caution is needed, just the same if we use a hot iron on delicate fabrics it will cause damage.

I bought a True shopping 5 in 1 steam cleaner.
it is a jolly yellow and brilliant.
My windows are so clean and streak free. My bathroom is germ free and the toilet sparkles. Cleans my floors beautifully.
The only thing is I keep forgetting hot it gets in seconds and change the fitting and remove the skin off my thumb! But hey ho I have another thumb!
It was £30.00 if I remember correctly as it was on offer at Amazon. Only got it in January and wouldn't part with it.

mine was something like this and I would not reccomend it

Mine is very similar to the upright one as I brought it for my laminate floors, you can do carpets with them.
but I also have one like the 2nd one that has been in the garage for years that I never use and want to get shot of.

I only use it for floors, I manually clean inside of windows and have a window cleaner for outsides.

everyone
I am still looking for a suitable one.
I need one that will clean the carpets most of all.
many just have a refresh tool for carpets.
due to sudden incontinence accidents , I must get the correct one , and I am still unsure which to get.
advice would be appreciated please.
due to my carees ocd issues I need to get a steam cleaner that doesn't use any chemicals.

I have ordered the one that Jane suggested, and I want it to clean my carpets.
It was about £35 with postage from amazon.

I haven't tried my carpet tool yet! But high hopes.
Word of precaution though. Don't drop it on your foot cos it really really hurts!!! Bit bruised this morning! Boo hoo me!

I didn't buy mine from here, I got it from Amazon and it was cheaper, but exactly the same model with accessories
this shows you how to use it for cleaning floors and windows, etc.

tha22222 wendy for this
but I have decided to not buy one.
after much deliberation I don't see how much different the results would be from the quick run over the carpets with the mop and and a bucket of boiling water with a splash of Dettol in it that I do now.
