I love it, but couldn't live there , I like my modern comforts & technology too much!

Like you Annie, I love it, but not sure I would live there, as I would be afraid of damaging anything. In the Bridwell Museum in Norwich they have a recreated 1950's living-room

Not for me, the pattern wallpaper and brown furniture would drive me crazy.

too many memories for me, it was just like living in the 40's and 50's.
the fire looks great, but you was frozen until last thing at night, when you then went to bed.

many houses didn't have a bathroom in the '30's.

True Honey - in my Great-great Aunt Ada's little terrace/cottage you had a wash in the sink .. or the tin bath! She even still had gas lights indoors - I can remember them in about 1962
