It makes me wonder why someone is not looking at the schools, and making sure that respect, good manners and how to speak basic good English is not part of the carriculum.

Sadly it never has been Wendy although you used to show respect to teachers or you got belted, Skill for life would be a good inclusion

Children have no respect for anyone and it is because they are not taught any manners.

It's annoys me when they run round the supermarkets and their mothers don't tell them to stop and when you see children sat in the supermarket trolleys and they are about 7/8 years of age
