I am told that the lack of members posting/replying  is gradually putting off the regular members who do post.
It is the same few members who post and we are so grateful to them.
But others come on and send a message to me, or come on and read everything and don't bother to post.
Then they leave when they have read what we have all posted.
Is it because people are lazy?
We need new topics to be posted to keep interest in the forum, or otherwise what is the point?
I don't want to spend my time hearing complaints from the regular members about the lack of support and interest from others after they have spent time, finding interesting things for us.
What do you think is the reason and what do you think the answer is?
Do we continue or is the forum no use any more?

You keep asking the same thing over and over Wendy & there doesn't seem to be an answer. We cannot force people to post unfortunately & I don't think the posting situation it is any different on other sites

I only post this question when  members tell me they have concerns about something.
My head goes round and round trying to please everyone, I like what you say about we cant make people post.
But please answer my question, do they come on and just lurk because they are nosey or lazy?

Does it bother you the lack of members finding new topics?

It doesn't bother me the lack of new topics.

I tend to notice that they come in fits and starts. We all bob along then one of us will need more support and we rally round.

One of the nice things is that sometimes it is just general chit chat. It's like friendships. Sometimes there is a lot going on and other times it is quieter but the most important thing is that every day we are here for each other.

So in that respect Chill achieves its purpose every day for me and I wouldn't change a thing.

It does not bother me either about the lack of new topics, I enjoy coming on for a general chat. I think people are both nosey and lazy. I enjoy Chill and you were all there for me when I went through my op which ment a lot.  hu****
