I recently had an old school friend get in touch again through facebook, we were in same class together and we are same age (62), she didn't know all we'd been through these past years and was shocked and saddened, she told me she had a stroke last November and thankfully she is slowly making some recovery, she is going to phone me at end of this week to have a catch up which I'm looking forward to.

I must admit our postie doesn't really do it for me!!

The man at kwik fit however who changed my tires and then because I told him i was going on a long journey checked my lights oil etc and even topped up my oil and ant acid for free!! He was rather cute and definitely worth the little flirt!!!

The only other time in recent years that I have been chatted up was at our local tip. I have been asked out by a few of the workers there! I'm not very flattered really. none of them seem to have teeth either!! I think I will stick to Kwik fit!!

a few years ago I was buying vegetables at the local market,
a man stood behind me said to me....
"eeehhh lass , tha looks like a good worker....are thee wed?
I'm a farmer and I am  looking for a good woman  to wed."
I politely declined his offer and he said shame, and kissed my hand.
