Poor Horace

Horace has not been eating for the last few days, this morning he was very drowsy. I took him to the vets, blood tests came back normal but he was dehydrated. The vet has no idea why. I had the choice of leaving him there on a drip or bringing him home, I brought him home with some rehydration sachets which I made up and have to syringe in to his mouth every 2 hrs today. I also have to keep him quiet, easier said than done as he will only settle if Tinker is with him or if he is on my lap. If he is no better in the morning he may have to go for a chest x-ray.

Thank you everybody, Horace ate a little tea and is now having a snooze. He is being really good at taking the fluid by syringe.

I should be ok for tomorrow, Graham can drop me off and come home to him if necessary.
