Good morning, it is warm and cloudy. Bill's birthday today, he is 72 . He got up & promptly fell asleep in the chair, so no doubt, he will snooze there all day, & celebrate belatedly.

I hope bill woke up to celebrate. Had you gone to a lot of trouble making him a birthday breakfast?

Been on the canal today, I pulled out 2 bikes half a shopping trolley and some odds and sods. Including a ladies bra! This particular brig hole has the ladies undies the next bridge down the men's, vwry odd!

My friends dog fell in again! Bless her she saw him on the bank doing the lock, she couldn't bear to be parted and leapt! Sadly she is a small dog with short legs and didn't make it. On a positive note she came tot he surface faster than last week and has learnt to doggy paddle! do877

Hope Bill celebrated his birthday later on, when he woke up Annie. Glad you enjoyed your time on the canal Jane, you had lovely weather for it. I know how you feel Wendy, this heat drains you. Have been to the hospital today for my 3 monthly cancer review, everything is fine, do not need to go back for 4 months. Take care.xxxxx
