So sorry go read about your friends granddaughter. What a shock for her. Thinking of her and her family.

The soup sounds lovely Liz. I love soup. My mum made me lots of chicken soup with the proper stock. Very yummy.a great way to use up veggies too.

Livs foot has got bigger so back to the doctor for her tonight. Poor love is in pain.

Glad you had fun Wendy.

Good luck with the meting and we definitely do not want chill closed I can assure you!

Good afternoon,
I have been out to a talk about wool making in Norwich and Norfolk. It was most interesting, and I will try and type out my notes when I get up from bed. I am now off to have a rest.
Liz would have loved the talk, and I feel sure she put some photos on chill recently about Norwich wool making.
Or am I imagining it?
speak soon, but I am very tired

Good afternoon, it is bitterly cold today, I've been doing a bit of spring cleaning.

That sounds like it was interesting Wendy.

Good morning, we have a lovely sunny start here in the north west, albeit, very cold with a sharp frost. I have some shopping to do this morning and performance with the choir at a nursing home this afternoon.
Paula and I had a wonderful time at the Spa yesterday, total relaxation & massage was superb, justwhat we both needed.
Hope you have a good day

Good Morning, going to meet my friend Heather for coffee, who I have not seen for 15 years. She was my best friend at infant school, she cannot walk far as she is on crutches. Heather was getting up from her seat on a bus, to get off, when the bus stopped suddenly and she fell and broke her hip. She had to have a pin put in and is now waiting for it to heal. Glad you enjoyed your spa treatments Anni. Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning, it is so bitterly cold I think it was warmer in January! I don't know where this month is going, time goes so fast as you get older.

Hope you all have a good day 6-== 6-== 6-==

Good morning, it is very grey here so no viewing of the eclipse for us!

I am going to Pilates shortly & I have some local shopping to do. Hope you get a peaceful day.

Our performance went down well at the nursing home yesterday, the home looks like a 5 star hotel, but appearances can be deceptive, this is where Paula worked and she whistleblew because of the poor patient care due to lack of training for the staff and penny pinching by the owner in important areas of health eg, no diabetic meals or sweeteners. The residents looked happy and well cared for, so one hopes that her intervention did some good

Hope you have a good day

Good morning, it is sunny with some blue sky - a welcome sight indeed.!!!

I have some washing to do but not much else planned.

I decided to go through the letter rack & chuck out papers that were no longer needed, as haven't done it for a while. What a good job I did!! I discovered that Bill's post-op appt with the plastic surgeon was in fact 25th March - next week, not 25th May , as I had recorded on the calendar. I thought at the time , it I was a long time to await the results, then I came across his Dermatology appt, which I had down as 22 nd April when in fact it is 22nd May.
I must be developing Altzheimers or I am going do- lally!!!!!! lol
Hope you have a good day

Good morning, it is frosty, but the sun is shining, so looks like we are in for a lovely spring day.

I am going to choir rehearsals today, we are practising for a big event in Manchester in June, when we are taking part in Singing for Water to raise money for Water Aid.
Hope you have a peaceful sunday

Good morning, a slightly better day weather wise, it's trying to get out, hope it does so I can finish what I was doing outside.
Annie I try and write on calendar as soon as there are any appointments to remember but I can still overlook them.

Good Afternoon, it is sunny and warm here, have been out for a Sunday paper and I am now perming my mum's hair. Going to have a cuppa and a piece of cake while I wait for the perm to take.

Morning all, the sun was beaming but now resting behind a grey cloud!

I put things in my phone and forget to put it on the calendar and then double book myself! The more we organise the worse we get Annie! Lol

will see about a walk today. I over did things by going to a 4 hour first aid course and with the speed bumps on the way home I am very sore. Also the lady driving doesn't slow down for bumps so hoping my internal organs are where I left them!

Liv has gone to school. The swelling is down but still hobbling bless her.

A find is visit this afternoon and I am looking forward to my parents visiting overnight on Wednesday and Samantha coming home on Thursday. Can't wait!

thinking of you all

Good morning, it is grey and drizzling,
My neck shoulder and back are painful & I am going for a massage this afternoon to try and ease it.
The pump on my 3 day old superkettle has packed in, I couldn't believe it!! I have got it all packed up ready to send back, hope the replacement is not too long as I find it difficult to lift a traditional kettle nowadays!
I have spent the morning downolading the music, soprano part and words for the songs we are performing for Sing for Water, just got to learn them now!!!
Hope you have a good day

Good morning, we have a clear sky today, could do with being a bit warmer, going to do a bit more in the garden providing it doesn't rain later.

Hope you get your kettle replacement soon Annie, how annoying it packed up so soon, not so super kettle.

good evening.
Rosalind, I think a hot bath may be a help. I hope you soon feel better.
I thought I should let you all know that the meeting went well for Chill this morning, and it seems as if we are at a crossroads. The commissioning officer said they will help and support us as much as possible.
It has been a long struggle to get where we are today, so it seems like a relief.
I hope I am not coming down with the cold that Ross had, I can't get warm.
love to everyone

Wendy, thank you for ringing me today - sorry I was out when you called. My phone has been like a hotline since I got home, which is why I haven't been able to ring you back. I am fine, but just been very busy lately. Paul isn't too good - he's got a urine infection, an infection in his left eye which is very swollen and won't close, for which he's got cream and eye drops, and today I had a call from the nurse, then spoke to the GP who saw him today. He had some blood taken yesterday for routine kidney check and apparently his sodium level in his blood is too low. I asked GP what can they do about it, and he just said they've stopped his anti-depressants and he's got to have another blood test done tomorrow, he implied that basically Paul is a gravely sick man and they don't know what to do for him now. I didn't expect that because I saw him today. Yes I know he's got so many problems and he IS very ill, but I got the impression they are giving up on him.
