Good Afternoon, it had been snowing on and off all day here, it is very slushy now, horrible. Hope all went well at the hospital today Annie. Hope your phone and internet are working okay now Wendy. Will not be around for the next couple of days, as off to London with my friend Ann. Thinking of you all.

Feeling very tired all day so early night for me!! I hope everyone is keeping warm-no snow here but it's freezing outside. Marks very tired and grouchy tonight as he had Physio today and it takes a couple of days for him to get over it.
Take care and love to everyone xx

Good morning, it is grey and cold, no frost or snow - which was a surprise as the forecast was dire.
The man is coming to service the electric & manual wheelchairs today, so need to stay in until he has been.
Don't know whether the man came to the roof as we didn't get back from Preston until 3pm, but surmise that he didn't or probably would have left a phone message, I left the back gate unlocked as he requested.
Warren's op went well & we had a lovely lunch in Booths which is across the road from the hospital
Hope you have a good day

Good morning,
Ross and myself went to collect a donated printer from Cromer this morning. We was back home by 10am.
By gum it is cold, but it was colder in Norwich than it was at the seaside.
I hope you will keep warm.

Yesterday I had a call from the nursing home I want Paul to go into to say they have a vacant room if we still want it. I nearly bit her arm off lol, and said yes please. I then rang the Continuing Care Team at the hospital who rang the home. Somebody from the home is going to see Paul this week to assess his needs now, then hopefully, we should be able to get him moved. It will make life much easier, as the home is walking distance from me. I went to see him this afternoon and told him the good news, and his face lit up.

That is good news Sheila and with it being walking distance for you so you can visit Paul much easier, hope they can get him moved soon, pleased you've got the one you wanted.

Hi everyone

Haven't been on line recently - Jimmie has not been well for a while so needs more attention and of course when doctors and nurses are coming in there is not much time for anything else.

Horrible weather here - very cold with high winds and snow showers - hard frost overnight again but today I noticed some snowdrops - a wonderful sight indeed.

Roll on spring

Paul was discharged from hospital today, and is now settled in his new home. Tonight he had chips - for the first time since August!! He didn't eat very many but he did enjoy what he had.

Good morning, no sign of the snow abating & the sky looks laden again today. Jenny, to whom I give a lift to choir, rang me & said don't even attempt to pick her up today as they are snowed in up there. Our street is ok as it was gritted and we are fairly near the main road, so hopefully I will be able to get to choir.
Hope you have a good day~Love anniexx

afternoon all,

Cold day but no snow here.

Great news about Paul, sheila and him being so close too.

Been cleaning all day and ironing. Got my appointment for my ground floor removal. It is the 26th feb so rather close. I am in a bit of a tizz. Stressed as this means liv staying with her gran for a few days and not seeing me when she is having a hard time. I hate not being in control. when everyone depends on you is hard to let go.

Glad you got your hair done Wendy. you could do with being pampered and relaxing.

Thinking of you all

Good morning, it is grey and frosty. I am going to Pilates this am & then just some local shopping.
The roofer is coming today to give us an estimate for the utility roof, he thinks it will need a complete rereoof not just flashing & Bill says it just needs flashing replacing. I am dreading the stress and aggro that Bill will give me over this, he is a nightmare.

Hope you have a good day
