Been another stressful day. Carers letting us down and agency not being very helpful.Marks very quiet so I'm just sat watching TV. Dudley has finally gone out but I'm sure he's not far away as he hates the heat. Hope everyone is doing alright xx

Hi everyone,
I sometimes wish these posts were public so people who know nothing about caring would see how difficult a carers life is, but I treasure our community too much to do this.
We are specially honoured to be able to share our days with one another.
I met Barry, Liz and Sheila today for a coffee and then I went to a wonderful exhibition about Birds at the Castle
http://www.museums.norfolk.gov.uk/Visit ... /index.htm

It is very warm and I am struggling with it, but we do have a nice breeze.
I have bought some tablets for carers who live in Norwich, and we are all looking forward to them arriving.  I will show you the photos when they arrive.
love to everyone

Hope you all have a reasonable day.

Good afternoon everyone,

I've decided it's far too hot to do too much, so I've come on here now instead of tonight, and will do some jobs when it's a bit cooler tonight.  Rosalind, sorry you are feeling poorly, hope the antibiotics kick in quickly and you soon feel better.  Ann, really glad to hear your mum is home, but not so good that Stan is unwell.  Hope he feels much better soon.  Yesterday I met up with Barry, Liz and Wendy for coffee, which was really nice, and I hope to do the same next week.

I've been trying desperately to tidy our house up and do a bit of de-cluttering while I've got the house to myself because Paul's in respite until Saturday.  I am getting somewhere, but wish it wasn't quite so hot, still we shouldn't grumble.

Take care everyone and hope you are all having a good day

Afternoon all,

What a scorcher today!

I thoroughly enjoyed the bacon buttie I had at Peppa pig world!!! I thought it was hilarious they sold bacon and  not veggie burgers!!

Caught up on a few jobs, still tired though but nice to be home.

I hope your mole removal goes well. I have lots of them that irritate me but don't know how they do it. I thought it would be an operation to dig it out.

Thoinking og you all

Good morning All,

What wonderful weather we are having.

Tony has been taken to hospital the ambulance arrived

at 12pm I went with him and I found myself ringing for a

taxi at 2 o'clock in the morning to get home, he is quite comfortable,

he is on steroids which they say will help him, he Is covered with

a terrible rash and blisters as he is a diabetic they said he could be in

trouble with the steroids. he would better in hospital.

It is really strange I keep waiting for him to call.

Audrey was 84 yesterday so we went to the foxlydiate and

had a fish and chip dinner. keep cool all.love Ireneexx

I went to Blickling Hall for lunch today but first  I went to a garden centre and bought some lovely plants for 5op each.. They will brighten my garden, where is has no colour.

I then came home and I have sat in the garden, there is a lot to do, but I am really lazy.

Good evening ,

Good news about the strawberries Mo, you certainly have green fingers.

Debbie my daughter-in-law came round this afternoon & we went for a lovely long walk down the canal bank, but no sign of the swans , but lots of blackberries ripe, so we got picking & we managed to get about 3lb between us & the bushes are still laden, they are 2 months early this year

On the way back, we saw the cob come floating along, they must have had a sail down the other side of Gannow Tunnel, we gave him some food & then just as we were about to come off the canal, the pen and cygnets came floating out of the tunnel, in a straight line, they looked so funny. As soon as she spotted me, she hurried over to the bank & the cygnets quickly followed, (they know me now & always rush to the side as they know I always have food with me). I get so much pleasure  seeing the cygnets grow & feeding them, I always come home with a smile on my face

Paul came back from respite yesterday, and this morning we went to n air show at.Old Buckenham.  It was very cloudy in Norwich so we thought it would be a bit cooler, but when we got there it was unbroken sunshine and scorching hot.  We had a lovely time, but it was too hot in the end and I've got a burnt back and we came home before it finished.  I really struggled pushing Paul around - he put a bit of weight on while he was away and most of it was rough fields and very uneven.  I hurt all over now, but it was nice to get out together.

The end of a bad week but now our night carer is taking 2 weeks off so either we go without our nights or have a stranger. It's been a quiet weekend but I'm glad the weather is changing and it's not so hot.

What a change in weather today, yesterday it was 25c and  hot, today it's dull and 17c.

I love reading about he swans and cygnets Annie, the simple things in life give so much pleasure.

The air show sounds good Sheila, some of the planes flew over our house Saturday, the air show wasn't to far from us as the crow flies, we were going but my husband is having a  problem with is foot at the moment so he can't walk far.

Debz I hope you manage to either get some night care or able to cope with it, sometimes it's harder having new one's, by the time you've shown them what to do you might as well do it yourself.
