Good morning, it is dull but fine just now. I have a few mins before Irene gets up, I can hear movement upstairs. We are going in to Clitheroe todayto see the Open Exhibition at the Platform Gallery, where Yasuyo is giving an origami demonstration & there are several other artists doing workshops. We had a fab  lunch yesterday at the Roaming Rooster. My daughter had some good news too, she had 2 new job interviews this week & she has been accepted for both of them so now she has to chose!!!!! I am delighted for her.

What a  relief to get up this am and see the news about the Glasgow School of Art catching fire - that they have saved the major part of it - it made me feel sick when I saw it - brought it all back re Norwich's Main Library going up in smoke...

Very sad though that they have confimed the missing yachts liferaft is still on boad ... am thinking of their families and friends today ...  ca99

No plans today, I might pop into city if the rain lets up just for a ride and have a cuppa so I am not stuck in all day ...

Good morning, it is grey here with rain forecast again. II came down to lots of lovely cards and presents this am. Irene and I are going to a festival in the park down the road this afternoon, as long as it stays fine!! We are making roast lamb for tea and opening a bottle of Prosecco.

Good Morning its sunny at the minute,it never stopped raining yesterday,went to Bolton with Stephanie and Beth to get Beth's shoes for her prom,we never got  any will have to go to the Trafford Centre
Stephanie took my laptop home,she had seen an advertisement for a job;she was going to send her cv in,hopefully i will get my laptop back today

I remember the prom stress very well. Try Ebay the shoes it will save petrol and parking!! Plus she can browse through thousands!!

Getting back on the wheel today and doing some washing and cleaning in between chatting to my lovely chillers.

Well just when I was having a good couple of days Dudley had got a splinter in his eye. Our vet can't get it out so have to wait to get a specialist eye vet. I'm  in bits but at least we have pet insurance. Rained all day so hoping tomorrow might be a better day xx

Good Afternoon all ...hope you have a ncie day weatherwise - it has been rather nice here, not too hot - a bit cloudy but it has stayed dry.

Very briefly popped out to have a look at the Peregrines, saw very little of them, one perched way up right at the top of the spire  - I was told it was the female. Update is that they only managed to ring three of the young ones were ringed ..the fourth was out of reach of the window.

After that, had a look at the weaving, wool-making and knitting exhibition in the hostry -I saw the most beautiful shawl there made from handspun wool -the card said it was made from a pattern on Ravelry so I will have look there to see if I can find it.

Sitting here watching "Great Expecations" on the Drama channel at the moment - the version where Gillian Anderson from "X-Files" plays Miss Haverhsam..

Off to get my tea now ..
