Good morning all it's cloudy and cold here,been to the shops,going to give the bathroom a good clean,might go over to the communtity room later for exercise class

Had an interesting day today ... my First Aid qual was up for renewal so I was on a  course with 14 others from D2D. Covered CPR, bleeding, strokes, diabetes and epilepsy ...

The CPR also covered using De-Fibrillators, as they are now set up to be used by anybody - the machines check what the heart is up to and then tells you whether you need to use it or not .. even if you press the wrong button it is set up not to shock if the heart doesn't need it, not that I would want it tried out on me lol?

So now up to date on that - and I even managed to "blow-up" the Resusci-Annie this time ..last time I did it I was just getting over pneumonia n didn't have enough puff to blow out a candle! One lady was so good at it the head fell of the Annie she was using!!!

Just off to get some tea now, then I will print off my family tree n see where the gaps are now I have finally found the option that allow me to print off all the relatives n not just direct ancestors

Afternoon all,

Just got out of the bath after a morning of cold boating!! We cleaned quite a bit of rubbish from the canal and bushes but the weather beat us!

Sam is revising madly so haven't seen much of her.

My 3 month old niece had an operation on her lungs and has just come out of theater after 4 hours of surgery. In ICU but they are optimistic. A big worry for everyone.

Doing the residents lunch today, stewed steak with carrots, onions, swede and dumplings with mashed potatoes followed by lemon cake and custard. Good morning, it started out wet and windy but the sun is poking out just now. I have washing to do, presriptions to fetch and going to the library. Warren is taking me out for lunch to try and cheer me up. I am making an appt at the Drs. Hope you have a good day

Grey and damp here today. Got the shopping and cleaning to do. Samantha has got a zumba dvd she wants me to try!!! I am coming up with as many excuses as I can to get out of it! May feign a sore ankle !!

Having my niece Talia for the day on Saturday and little molly came out of her operation well yesterday and is in ICU at the moment. Awaiting more news. She is a little fighter though.

Am off to the hospital to see the consultant about the growth of my cheekbone, something needs doing as it is impacting on my glasses and hearing-aid now so will see what he has to say. Just back from doing a first responder shift. 3 hours and no call outs!!

Good morning it is cold but bright and sunny.
I managed to eat a boiled egg and toast this am without any nausea or chucking it back, that is the first time for weeks!!! I as shocked yesterday when the Dr weighed me & I had lost 6kg in 5weeks.
I am meeting Carole and Kay later, Carole was the other Mac nurse with us & she now lives up in Inverness so we only see her a couple of times a year. I have some shopping and washing to do later on.

Had a nice afternoon with my friend. She always cheers me up.

Went to Liv's assembly as she received an award for hard work. I love going to them. Not many left now as she goes up tot the big school in September.

Sam is making dinner and hoovered up for me so that is a lovely treat.
