evening all,

it ahs been a blustery and cold weekend.

glad you are feeling better Annie.

Had a lovey day in town with Liv on saturday. I found a lovely check shirt so treated myself.

Been at football today. It was so cold and windy. Liv's team won 8-0 so she was really cold standing around.

I hope Paul's cough gets better Sheila

Helping a friend have a clean up tomorrow. He wants a big clean and keeps putting it off so tomorrow we wll spruce his boat up.

Nice to see a new name on the shout box.

Paul's sister & BIL came over this morning and Doug finished painting the woodwork in the lounge. We had the meeting this afternoon with the social service people to assess Paul for full funding in a nursing home. The meeting went very well, and Yvonne & I popped in to Paul for a break while the officials discussed everything. After about 5 mins Martina came and got us to hear the verdict. Brilliant News - they agreed to full funding, so now I've got to find a good home for him. They have given me 2, but one of them is too far from home, the other one I am going to go and look at later this week. He is getting over his cough, though still has little bouts of coughing - nowhere near as bad as it was at the weekend. He was quite happy today and sang to me (I can't tell you what he was singing), but hey- who cares - he had a big grin on his face.

good morning,
I have cleaned my car this morning and covered my greens with some netting. The rotten slugs was eating the stuff, so I havent had a meal off them as yet.
It would be cheaper to buy the greens.
yes it is heartwarming to see Doug posting, and hear you are baking Annie. I baked yesterday and made an apple pie and a pizza
hope everyone is ok

Good morning, a cold day but we have lovely clear blue skies and my snowdrops are now appearing.
Great to see you posting on here Doug, hope you are keeping well.
All this talk of home baking I should really get round to doing some myself.

Pleased to hear about the funding Sheila, when Paul goes into a nursing home it will be life changing for you both.

This morning we delivered another laptop to a carer in Norwich.

Hello all,

It smells lovely here with all the baking!

Great news on the funding Sheila and lovely to read your posts Douglas.

Had a great day yesterday in fast response car. I must admit I did get a kick out of the parting of cars at traffic lights!! I am such a big kid!! had a few calls and learnt a lot from the paramedic who got the short straw and had me for 12 hours!!!

shattered today so taking it easy.

Thinking of you all

Tomorrow we will be announcing something really interesting that we will be doing with the DOH.
I have tried to find some interesting topics for you but I do enjoy your lovely things, please keep posting, you bring me a lot of joy.

Good afternoon, it is cold & we have been having alternate sleet and snow showers. Been to Pilates this am, going to do some errands this afternoon & then having a hot stone massage, with a discount voucher I got from my beauty shop , looking forward to that. Probably chippy for tea, after that!!
keep warm

Good morning, it is very cold & we have a light covering of snow. I am changing the bed and doing some washing today, not much else planned. I do have some good news though, someone is coming to look at the utility room roof on Monday, so fingers crossed it will get done soon. Hope you have a good day

Good morning, we have a complete white out this am with freezing fog, hope it isn't like this tomorrow as I have to take Warren toPreston Royal Infirmary for another procedure on his neck & the man will not be able to come & check out the utility room roof.
I gave a pile of ironing to do, nothing else planned just trying to keep warm
Sorry you had a bad night Wendy, hope the day gets better.

Good afternoon, it's very cold here but thankfully no snow today.
We went to the churchyard this morning to take flowers, 2 years ago today we lost our beautiful daughter.
I had a lovely text message from one of Louize's old boy friends to say he was remembering her and thinking of us, it's lovely that he thinks of her still.

Hope you sleep better tonight Wendy, I didn't sleep to well last night.
