Good Afternoon, it is overcast here, popping up to see my friend, who is not too good at the moment. There has been two police cars at an elderly neighbour's house, across the road from us. Hope it is nothing serious, but you do wonder, when there is two police cars there. Mum has got up today and put her dressing gown on, after spending two days in bed after having diahorrea. Enjoy your few days away Annie, hope you have good weather. Hope everyone has a reasonable day.

Afternoon all.
Glad your mum is feeling a lot better.
Liv and I have just washed the car and the porch. So all shiny and clean again. Shattered! Had lunch outside which was lovely.

Good Morning it is warm and sunny here, have done some housework after taking Milo for a walk in the sunshine. The neighbour, where the police cars where, had been found dead we have been told, just waiting for it to be confirmed. Going out for lunch, Milo is happy chewing his ham bone. Hope everyone has a reasonable day. Love Rosalind xxx.

Hello everyone, sorry I haven't been on here for a long time. Been very depressed the last few weeks. My car has been off the road for over a month, then today it is going for scrap. I've been going stir crazy because I haven't been able to get to any of my craft groups, which are what has kept me sane over the years. Without going into detail, Paul has left me in real trouble with money, so I don't know if I'll be able to stay in my lovely house, I've been threatening to go to bed and never get up again, that way I won't spend any money and I won't be any trouble to anybody. My lovely Sister in Law and he hubby have lent me the money to buy a car, which I picked up this morning, so at least now I can get out to do my hobbies. I am going to have to be very careful with money for the next year or more to try and get myself back on my feet. As if I didn't have enough to cope with with losing Paul and the problems he had and all the stress that came with him being so ill for so long. I'll survive I guess, but it will be a struggle.
Sorry to be all doom and gloom - it's just how my life is at the moment!

Evening all,

lovely to see you back Ann.

Sorry to read your troubles sheila. I can't imagine how much stress this has caused for you. Hard enough grieving without the added worries. Thinking of you

Liv and i have been on the boat today. There were lots of bushes heaving with ripe blackberries. So we picked plenty tomake a crumble for us and barrie my boating ffriend. We didn't have long to pick so will go back another day to get more for the freezer. The damsons need another week I think to ripen. Can't wait for those.

thinking of you all

Dear Sheila
What a lot to cope with, I am so sorry.
Life can be too cruel sometimes but somehow reading the strength of how other Carers on here are coping gives me strength to carry on.
I truly believe we are here for a reason so please try and stay strong.
My love to everyone on this good night.

Goodmorning, we had a lovely day yesterday, it was warm and partially sunny. We went on the Victoria ship Warrior, took the ferry to Gosport, where we went in the Alliance, WW2 sub, and the first sub from WW1Holland 1, very claustrophobic , visited the Sub museum, Royal Navy museum & Warren &Callum had a sail on th mini port &we visited the Action Stations where there are lots of kids participation stuff.Briliant.

Today we are packing up, then visiting the Royal Marine museum, then a modern warship HMS M 33 then setting off back up north after lunch.

Warren has been brilliant, done all the driving so far &used his scooter round the dockyards and museums, just the ships with all the stairs, that are not accessibl& &he had to walk using his stick.

I can highly recommend the maritime attractions at Portsmouth and disabled get discount, carer goes free.

Hope you have good day

Good morning, it's dull and looks like rain today, my husband is not well, x-ray revealed he has a lung infection which is not good as he had half of his right lung removed 3 1/2 years ago, so he has no choice but to rest.

That sounds great Annie, hope the break has done you all good, safe journey home.

Good Morning, raining heavy here, had Milo out, came back like two drowned rats sp0 . Mum still in bed after her traumatic afternoon yesterday, had her ear syringed, that went well, went for tea and cake. On the way out of the coffee house, mum fell, she could feel herself going and could not stop herself. Cut her face, beside her eye and smashed her glasses, took her back into the coffee house as she was bleeding. Cleaned her up and sterri strips were put on and Linda who owns the coffe house, gave us a lift home. I then took her smashed glasses and another pair that had similar frames to the opticians at the end of the village. They swapped the lenses over, as mum cannot see without her glasses. Her face is slightly black this morning and she aches all over, as she did go down hard.

Good morning, it is a mixed bag today, one minute the sun is shining., then it goes black & the wind gets up.

I have been to church & then took Warren's scooter round. We were not up to unloading it on Thursday after the long drive. They have a new kitten 8 wks old called Leopold, ginger and white, really cute!!!

Went for a long walk after lunch & bumped into an ex-colleague whom I hadn't seen for years, it was great to catch up, we had a good natter.

Making roast belly pork for tea
Hope you are having a peaceful day
