I went out for lunch today, it was a really good meal, but when I got home I had to go to bed and slept soundly nearly all afternoon.

Morning all,

I was discharged from the consultant yesterday. He says I am mending well. I won't be able to let my kit bag for first responding for at least another 6 weeks. He did laugh at me when I asked! Slowly slowly apparently! I can start resuming normal tasks but listen to my body.

I am taking the girls to town on the bus today. We may fish and chips in the park if we are good girls! Can't wait to get out. My car is being fixed today as it needs new calipers so when it comes back I will be able to see if I can drive it with no pain. If not then I won't be driving g until I can.

Good morning, it is bright and sunny again.
We had a fantastic day at the zoo yesterday. The South Lakes Zoo is only small, compared to Chester, but it is endearingly rustic and there are lots of elevated walkways which afford a good view of the animals & opportunities to participate in feeding. I will put some pics on hopefully over the weekend.
I have some local shopping to do & Paula and I are going to a local food festival later on. Bill is asleep in the chair as usual & will probably sleep until late evening

Morning all,

glorious here today.

May have overdone it a tad yesterday! Had such a lovely day in town with my girls that i don't care i ache today. We had fish and chips in the park. They had their hair done and we got Liv some new clothes. Sam had some shoes so my girls re very happy! I 2as exhausted by the time we got home on the bus. The driver seemed to be trying to qualify for the formula 1!

My are will be back later after repair so i can see if i am up to driving.

Bill sounds a lot like Lee Annie. Sleeps in the chair all day up at night! I feel for you hungry.

I seem to have got up early and went early to Asda. The roads were deserted and so was the shop, but not when it was time to leave.
The sky still has lots of cloud, but it is warmer than it has been.

Good Afternoon, it is cold and windy here, it does not know what to do to rain or have sunshine. Have done some shopping and just finished washing and setting mum's hair, waiting for it to dry now. Hope everyone has a reasonable day.

Crumbs, just managing to get warm again ... been home a couple of hours ...

Just popped into the city for a break, it was only very light rain while 4 of us waited at the bus stop -we could see the bus at the end of the road at the stop before. By the time it got to us -me, a young chap and a lady with her child in (thankfully) covered pushchair were soaked through.. !

It came down that hard, I thought it was hailing with the racket it was making on the hood of my waterproof. I didn't quite realise just how wet til I sat on the bus seat and yuuuk, I had a very wet bum -the rain had run down my waterproof and over my jeans which are hanging up to dry. My feet were soaked as well through my shoes, so I let them(my feet) soak in a bowk of hot water and then pampered them with some nice foot cream.

I had gone to have a look at the knitting books in the library .. and GRRRRRRR .. found two that people had written in -bet they wouldn't do it to their own books - I took the books to a librarian ..

lovely and sunny after a wet start, though certainly not as wet as you Liz! Goodness you must have been freezing. Hope you are cosy now,

i have driven to town with my friend. We had pavlova in our lovely cafe then a bit of shopping. I had to have a rest in primary! Then a cold drink and a sit down in Costa! Rather tired but i promised to do a tin shake in our local tesco for the car scheme . Do wish i hadn't as rather tired! There will be a seat for me so i can rest there!

I woke up this morning and decided to have a lazy get up -have a cup of tea while I watch a bit of TV on my tablet... Huh? Crikey! Monday ?! My tablet said Monday, I racked my brains trying to remember what I did on Sunday, I could remember all right what I did Saturday. Then I thought, calm down dear, check the TV and calender ... Phew !!! It IS Sunday...

My tablet has now been put on the right day .. isn't a technology a wonderful thing ?

Good evening, it has been cold and windy all day here & rained all morning. Cleaned the windows , been into town & got some new sandals (in anticipation of getting some warmer weather!! - hope I didn't waste my money!!!!lol), Had a long walk down the canal this afternoon, both pens are sat on their respective nests, can't tell how many eggs as yet, but looking forward to seeing the new families in a couple of weeks.
