Good afternoon, it is cold and sunny. I have a long way to go yet, as I am still coughing and not eating , but I am definitely a bit better. No plans as yet, going to read and play in the arcade. Bill has offered to pay for Paula & I to have a 2 day Spa break next month, we are going to take him up on it!! I hope you are having a peaceful day

Good morning,it is cold, grey and very windy. I managed another day without lying down yesterday, but just wish  my symptoms would begin to clear, no change there!!! Hope you have a good day

Good morning, it is mild wet and windy, the gate on the scaffolding has been clanging all night with the wind. I managed to eat a little more yesterday, but still only managing half what I normally eat, I have now lost 8lb. I fear it will be another trip to the DRs this week, this has now gone on for 17 days now & I am really fed up. The constant coughing and nausea really gets me down.

Good morning, it is sunny at the moment.

Just had a call from builder, hoping to start in the morning!!  I am dreading it, in case BIll tries to interfere again & then sacks him like he did the last one, half way through the job, leaving us with rain pouring in  for 6 years!!!!!  Now we are paying £2000 to have the dorma removed & a velux window put in instead, which could have been avoided if the first guy had continued. He is already making noises about the dorma is perfectly ok  (it's not it is rotting)& just needs patching. I can't understand him, he was in the building  trade, how can he not see that raining in over 6 years is not a problem!!!!!!!!I am trying  not to worry, but  am all churned up.
The good news is - my cough is improving at last, but still have the nausea and exhaustion , but it is a step in the right direction

Good Morning bright and sunny here, glad you are feeling a little better Annie, hope the building work goes well. I am going into Newcastle to have lunch with my friend Ann. Alex my brother is looking after mum as her dizzy spells are bad, she took a dizzy spell while going down the stairs, got half way and fell the rest. Luckily she was not hurt just shaken and bruised. Hope everyone has a good day.

Busy morning helping my boating friend. he has torn a ligament in his knee so I have taken him to the doctors and sorted out shopping for him. He is in so much pain bless him.

Lee is brighter today and is out of bed which is nice.

Dinner is cooking in the slow cooker so I am going to catch up with posts.

I was going to go back to choir this afternoon, for the first time in 3 weeks, but I received a call last night to say our choir mistress is ill, so I am going to go into Clitheroe to do some shopping. I need to buy a new purse as the fastener has broken on my old one & it won't mend. Hope you have a good day

Got a first responder shift today. So hoping it will go well. I get so nervous when I am on call. But I suppose that is a good thing.

Good morning, it is frosty and dull. I am feeling much better at last, my cough is almost gone and my appetite is improving as is the nausea, just hoping my energy levels will return soon.
  I got a real bargain yesterday, we went in a charity shop that only deal in  good quality clothes in Clitheroe & I found a full length blue satin gown,, with  beaded bodice and a  bolero, all fully lined , as new for £15. It will be ideal for the next carer's ball & was cheaper than setting to and making another one.
Just got some local shopping to do today & having my nails done this afternoon
