Good morning, don't know why but I keep thinking today is Saturday, and if it is I shouldn't be sitting at home as I'm going crafting for the day LOL! I popped in very briefly to take Paul some clothes, but he was asleep - I woke him and he didn't appreciate it at all, so I came home just 4 minutes after I arrived. Talk about waste of time and fuel. I've decided I'm not going today or tomorrow, and on Sunday I'll take Honey in to see him for a little while. As today turns out to be FRIDAY, I am going to change into my decorating clothes and get to work.

Good afternoon, it is now bright sunshine but the day started off -4c and very frosty, it's now +3c.
Tomorrow we are going to Sheringham to visit my Brother, it's his Birthday today.

I can't believe how cold it is and I hope everyone is keeping warm. The thermostat in our boiler is broken so the heating won't turn off but fingers crossed it will be fixed on Monday as I'm worried about how much it's costing having the heating on 24/7. Marks not been feeling brilliant so I booked some extra nights to be support for me and let me have some sleep! Hope everyone is coping . Xx

Been to have my eyes tested today. Needed new reading glasses as i have lost my others! I think I may have left them at a patients house!

Bought Lee so light weights to help him exercise and tone. he has lost nearly 10 pounds this month. So really chuffed.

Going to watch the musketeers with Liv in a moment. I will need the smelling salts after that!! Nothing like a hunky man in leather! Or maybe that is just my fantasy!!!

Good morning, it is grey and windy. I need to go & get fuel sometime today, I hope to go & see my granddaughter and have a walk by the canal. Yesterday, I fed the swans, had my walk & then on the way back, they were on the towpath, the cob puffed himself up to 4 times his size & then waddled towards me, while she stood & watched. When he drew adjacent with me he started to extend his neck ready to peck at me, cheeky little monkey. I told him off & he just stood & stared at me. No sign of their courting behaviour as yet.

Good morning, it is mild and grey.
Bill has his appt to see the plastic surgeon this afternoon, to assess his wound from the melanoma & calculate how much more he will have to excise, hopefully will arrange date for surgery, scans and lymph biopsies. This is his 3rd appt & has yet to see the consultant, as Bill has said he wasn't up to going each time. The hospital are going mad as it was classed as urgent and has now gone on over 2 months. He is saying, he doesn't feel well again & is going back to bed - if he does, I will never get him up in time, it is so stressful.

Hi everyone - I haven't been posting as feeling very down - hubby not well, dementia really bad, etc. No companionship or conversation. Family not near us but not interested anyway.

Good Evening everyone, it has been sunny but bitterly cold here. Hope you got Bill to his appointment Annie. Sorry to hear you are having such a difficult time Daisy, thinking of you h###u

Good morning, it is grey and drizzling.
Well, I got Bill to the clinic yesterday, just by the skin of our teeth!! he had all morning to get ready & kept saying in a minute , & finally got him ready by 3pm ( his appt was 3.20 & I hadn't a clue where the hospital was in Accrington, what the parking was like nor where the outpatients was. I was really stressed , as this happens every time we go anywhere, he acts like a naughty 2 year old, except you can make a 2 year old conform!!!! Fortunately, the hospital turned out to be at the Burnley end of Accrington & took only 15mins, & as we drove in to the carpark, a car was just vacating a parking space & the out patients was directly in front of us!! Phew!!!!
The appt went ok, they are going to take another 2cm of flesh away round the wound, which may need grafting, this will be at Preston in a few weeks time, then he needs an ultra sound, also at Preston, & then they will decide re biopsies which we were told are very invasive & require a general anaesthetic.
I am meeting my friend Kay for lunch today, nothing else planned

I went to a carers meeting this morning and then have been busy writing emails and letters to MP's .
I am tired now but I will be back on tomorrow, still fighting for carers and for Chill.

I went to the Metro Centre and bought myself a Regatta jacket and got it for £24 instead of £80, so was pleased with that. The forecast for us is snow and it will be bitterly cold. 09klj 09klj

good morning, I have put my washing out and now it is raining, it doesnt seem to be raining at the front of the house, most odd.
I have been busy doing work to finally make us a registered charity and then I have a meeting at 11am, and an important phone call and then a funeral this afternoon.

Good afternoon, Glad you managed to get Bill to the hospital Maureen, well done. I went to my carers group meeting this morning and they were saying they may have to close it down because numbers have dropped so much. The chairman keeps getting phone calls from new people who say they will come along, but then they don't show up on the day. It is such a shame - in my area our GP surgery has the highest number of carers than anywhere in Norfolk, but we've only got about 9 people who go to the meetings. I'm going to see Paul this afternoon, don't know what to expect from him - every time I have been to the home he seems like he's on a different planet to me. I hope he improves over time once he gets used to being there.
