It is our local councils 40th birthday this year, and they have invited me with 2 guests to attend for afternoon tea and I have been nominated for an award with a small prize.
I have asked Ross and Chrissy if they will come with me, so please keep your fingers crossed.
There will be 11 other people there receiving awards on 26th February

Receiving the award with the Chairman of Broadland District Council who had arranged this special event because of 40 years.

They chose 40 volunteers from across Broadland and I was honoured to be one of those 40, the events had been happening for a year, and ours was the last lot.
