When a carer choses to leave our community

There is a friend of mine who is still a member but left some months ago.
She used to post frequently on Chill, but she chose to leave because she did not like what we do.
Anyway today she phoned me to tell me that she has to have an operation on Friday which may be for cancer.
At the moment she can't eat anything and can only drink liquids.
This made me realize how lucky we are, here on Chill, because when I have had tough times, I get amazing comfort and support knowing that you really do care.
I wanted to thank you and explain what a wonderful community we do have and when they leave I really think they wish they hadn't.

Sorry to hear about your friend Wendy and hope the op goes well .
She leaving the forum  because she didn't like the way things were done  sounds abit petty to me
.There are many things we all don;t like in life but at times we have to put up with it but this forum is certainly  not one of them in fact this forum a blessing  plus many wonderful people here  that make life bearable  coffeex
