What an amazing piece.

Sometimes it takes a while for people to respond to newspapers so please don't be disheartened.

Also even if you have no response but a carer got in touch and finds his/her days more bearable then you have achieved something that money can't buy.

The interviews from you all were marvelous. Who knew we had 2 such sexy ladies working behind the scenes at Chill. Maybe you could consider a WI type calendar to raise money!

Again congratulations for being so wonderful and a great article

Stacia has tried really hard, but I dont think people are bothered about family carers and feel there are enough charities to help them that a peer support group is unimportant.

We have to remember that the local charities in Norfolk and maybe even the national ones, will not care about this post, because they think if you dont have chill, you will have to go to them, and that is their job.  It will help to keep their jobs.
It is ever so difficult.

I have some good news.
Someone in charge of carers in Norfolk phoned me today and I explained our situation and they are going to do everything they can to help us to keep Chill.  It will take months, but at least they realized how important Chill is to carers and past carers.
I feel much better in  my mind over this.
Please keep me strong when I get fearful.
