An evening of entertainment in Norwich

Postby wendy » 22 Feb 2014, 11:08

An evening of entertainment starring the great rhythm and blues singer

KENT DUCHAINE & LEADBESSIE

is being held at the Assembly Rooms, Theatre St, Norwich on Monday

the 24th February 2014, 6.30pm-10.30pm. Tickets are £12.50 and can be

purchased by contacting Mary Colman on 07803-254790.

This event is in aid of two charities, THE EDITH ELLEN FOUNDATION

and MESOTHELIOMA UK and among those attending will be the

Rt. Worshipful, the Lord Mayor of Norwich.

THE EDITH ELLEN FOUNDATION (Patron: The Duchess of Mar) is an

independent national charity with the aim of improving the consistency

and quality of all care.

The vision of the Foundation will be brought to life by protecting people from

abuse and neglect. By listening to the views of everyone in any care setting,

their families and those providing services, will ensure people's lives are

valued, enriched and cherished above all else.

The Foundation has developed One Quality of Kindness In Care, bringing

a comprehensive clarity for care being delivered. Our standard inspires and

motivates an improved national approach to a sustainable culture of

leadership and team excellence in all nursing and care services. One that is

consistently providing kindness and understanding of the needs and wishes

of our frail and vulnerable people within our communities.

We are committed to empowering all health and social care services by

sharing common goals and values. Our independent support, educational

and training programmes will raise the profile of the real issues surronding

the quality of all services offered nationally, to seek beneficial solutions for all,

and to recognise sustainable partnerships that deliver the highest standards

in caring.

Our foundation now has the platform to influence change as it has

developed respect, confidence and understanding from our proactive

intergrated networking, through developing strong partnership nationally

and locally, and very importantly, through its advocacy work.
