Try not to keep thinking something is going to happen, it will grind you into the ground and then you will be ill and Stan will pick up your anxiety and it will unsettle him.
Off load and have a good moan on here.

I agree with Wendy & Mo, we are here for you, but maybe it is a good idea to have a word with your Gp about how you are feeling

Thinking of you Ann, anxiety is a horrible thing but natural with all the worry you have had with Stan recently. I hope you soon feel more settled.

I agree with Annie, Wendy and Mo. I would have a word with your GP as I had a time when I went through that when I was looking after dear Dad and trying to balance work - I called it the "what if" . What if this happens, what if that happens ... For me the solution was my GP made an appointment for me to see a counsellor, who taught me some techniques that helped hugely, I was very lucky to see one so quickly as I know there is often quite a wait to see one .. that was quite a few years ago so no doubt things have changed a bit so seeing your GP would be a good idea..

I had notification that the Carers Trust are doing a course on anxiety but it is in Scotland.
I have replied and said it would be great if they could be all over the country.

It might be a good idea to write down how you feel and when you feel like it before you see your GP -that is what I do when I see my GP

I've been to the docs today,I feel so much better after having a good chat with the gp,the doctors have a counsellor who goes to the surgery every fortnight, she said I can see the counsellor in the next fortnight
I even went to see my friend for half an hour today.
Thank you for all your advice and support
Love Ann x
