Print Week- Makers Month

Postby chenrezig » 28 Feb 2016, 16:21

I have just bought my first colouring book today, I manged to finally find one that doesn't have lots of thick black lines in it.

Yesterday I had my last go at crafts at the Forum, I had a go at stencilling -I am still trying to get the green paint off my nails lol! Lovely Tutor named Rebecca showed me how to do it then I had a go ... I did wonder if I had been over ambitous as I found a lovely leaves design but it was a so-and-so trying to put the paint on without getting covered in it, hence my green fingers, literally at present.

The nice thing is that you don't need a lot to do it, a sheet of acetate to cut a design into, material and fabric paint ...

The green fingers have gone now thank goodness. I haven't done anything with the print yet, I was thinking of framing it just as it is, and hanging it somewhere out of the light.
